Wirral Fox Rescue is the only dedicated Fox Rescue and Rehabilitation charity based in Wirral. Our Rehabilitation Centre is located in Hoylake, and we aim to help sick and injured foxes in Wirral and the surrounding area.

Poor little Tim was found wandering the roads alone – it was clear he had been doing so for a number of days and was very lost. Closer examination revealed that he was blind in one eye and suffering from a nasty infection – ocular toxoplasmosis. He’d clearly been through a horrible ordeal and he was very subdued when he arrived. We needn’t have worried though… he is now a very bouncy, very vocal and very cute fox cub! Sadly, the toxoplasmosis has left him with neurological damage so it is unlikely we will be able to release him back into the Wild. As his quality of life remains good and he has no fight or flight response, we will be seeking sanctuary space so he can live happily with other foxes like him.
