At quite an early age, Bertie found himself a little too large to play with the other foxes. His kindly demeanour and friendly approach to all other creatures also made him less than skilled at catching his food. He approached Wirral Fox Rescue in search of meaningful employment, and we were very happy to train him in his new role.
Although sometimes a little shy, Bertie attends many of our Events and Community Engagements, and lists the following among his many skills:
- Posing for photos
- Waving to people
- Handing out goodies
- Hiding behind things
